Thank you for considering making a purchase to help support disaster relief efforts in Western North Carolina. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Bounty and Soul, a community-based non-profit in Black Mountain, NC that has been providing free, locally grown produce and other nutritious food and education to the area since 2014. The second organization we will be contributing to through these sales is: Foundation Studios - a warehouse full of artisan stalls in the River Arts District in AVL and their entire warehouse flooded to the roof so they lost everything.

From the words of one of our vendors - Bre Crenshaw - I woke on September 27th, 2024 at my home in Black Mountain, NC expecting to have flooding and loss of power due to the massive amounts of rain and wind projected to come with hurricane Helene. We got that, but as the day progressed we got word that it was so much worse than anyone had expected. As the next few days unfolded, I saw some of the devastation that Helene caused. Entire towns are gone. Mudslides took out houses and roads. So many businesses were destroyed. Families lost loved ones, incomes, pets, and so much more. At 10 days in, infrastructure is still a wreck. We do not know when water will return, many are still out of power, and hundreds of people are still missing. Western North Carolina will take years to recover.
